Bell Casting for St. Charles

August 29, 2025, entered the annals of St. Charles: on that Friday, the new bells for the tower of our chapel were cast in Passau by the local company Perner. Their ringing is intended to carry our longing for peace in the Holy Land and throughout the world as a message far and wide. One bell is dedicated to the Virgin Mary, the second to St. Charles Borromeo. This made a long-held dream come true for our convent. We owe its fulfillment to the incredibly generous donation of a couple who are close friends of the German Hospice. They were among the guests at this festive event, as were the board of our Friends' Association and Abbot Markus Eller from Scheyern, who performed the blessing of the ceremony. With great gratitude, we Sisters of St. Charles witnessed these historic moments for us through the photos sent to us.
